Abstract

This article reveals the problem of identifying the historical essence of physical culture. According to the state, physical culture, having great potential opportunities, becomes the most important way to strengthen and preserve health, develop personal and professional qualities, improve a person's working capacity and level of motor activity. The authors draw a relationship between culture and physical culture, since along with culture as a whole, physical culture is designed to form a comprehensively developed personality, the main subject of the historical process. As a result of solving the problem, it was revealed that physical culture manifests itself in a variety of historically established and constantly developing new physical exercises. An in-depth study of the history of physical culture in the future may affect not only the physical condition of one individual, but also the future of modern society.
