Development of cognitive interest in decorative and applied arts by means of information technologies

Abstract
The process of developing cognitive interest in decorative and applied creativity by means of information technology is considered. The authors analyzed the scientific literature on the research topic. According to the authors, the combination of traditional teaching methods (analysis of decorative works, comparisons, online testing, video workshops) with information technology (educational website) has a positive effect on the cognitive interest of students.
