Abstract

The article notes the importance of the formation of traditional Russian spiritual and moral values in the context of the activities of children's public associations. The definition of the concept of "children's public association" is given, its educational potential is characterized. Children's public associations contribute to the formation of traditional Russian values, if appropriate mechanisms are implemented, therefore, the author sets a goal: to identify and briefly characterize a set of mechanisms for increasing the educational potential of a children's public organization. Based on the analysis of various sources, a definition of the concept of "mechanism" is proposed, various grounds for classifying mechanisms for organizing the activities of children's public associations are considered (by scale of implementation, by duration, by the number of subjects of influence). The following groups of mechanisms for organizing children's associations are also distinguished and characterized: psychological and pedagogical, socio-pedagogical, organizational and pedagogical, scientific and methodological, financial and economic, personnel, legal. The complex nature of the mechanisms and their interrelation are noted. Special attention is paid to pedagogical mechanisms that ensure the development of children, their relationships with the outside world, as well as increase the activity and socially significant focus of the children's association. There are general (which are used in the activities of all organizations) and specific (variable, variable pedagogical) mechanisms of activity of associations. A brief description of variable pedagogical mechanisms is given, a particular manifestation of which are pedagogical tools (subject-oriented technology, child-adult associations, project and volunteer activities, etc.). The relevance of the interaction of children's public organizations with the family is emphasized.
